Nicole Rizzo Carter is on track for her 500 YTT. She has over 25 years of teaching experience in yoga, dance & choreography. Before becoming a full time teaching artist and yoga teacher, Nicole was a professional actress and dancer.
She has acted in off-Broadway plays and took part in NYC renown Fringe Festival's "Wanted Ex-Cheerleaders," which was featured in the New York Times. She was asked to choreograph and dance for the legendary Pointer Sisters at The Royal Venue, a benefit for the City of Hope Foundation, held at the Henry Fonda Music Box Theater in Los Angeles. Nicole is the artistic founder, producer & choreographer of Gypsy Layne Cabaret & Company a professional successful cabaret troupe in New England for over 10 years dedicated to self-empowerment, body-positivity and inclusivity.
Nicole is the owner of Greylock Yoga + Movement in North Adams MA. Their mission is to offer therapeutic heated yoga to cultivate functional mobility for everyday life + dance classes to empower and inspire, so you can live your most vibrant life. Nicole is a certified prenatal teacher, Barre Eclipse Instructor and Certified Health & Wellness Coach. She is also a certified Mental Health First Aid responder and trained in CPR. She holds trainings from MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) and positive psychology.
